When we moved into this house, the previous owners left his glider on the front porch. So here it sat for almost 4 years, untouched, until now.
I finally got around to painting it. The yellow is a bit bright, but the weather will dull it down I am sure. Though Cliff seems to think it looks like a school bus. I think a black eyed susan! Maybe it will get painted again! A 50's pastel color maybe? What do you think?

ReplyDeleteI love the color. When we got our porch swing it was a super bright green. But I found a great tan printed cushion that had green fern on it and a solid cream colored pillow which helped mute the color and then it looked just perfect. I bet the same would work for you. Some pretty pillows can help tie the yellow in with the blues and grays of your porch and it will look perfect. Great job!
